HELLO, BLOG! TODAY MARKS ONE MONTH IN OSAKA!!! WOOHOOO!!! Well, technically yesterday since it’s 12:30 am now, but I don’t count the day over until I go to sleep. ONE MONTH!!! WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I decided to create a new theme for today because it's a CELEBRATION!!!! YEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!
ONE MONTH CELEBRATION!
Today is my one month celebration in Osaka! This is how it went down:
- Woke up at 7 am
- Completed my homework for the day
- Walked to the Aeon’s and picked up so much food, like so much.
- Ate a ton of protein yogurt + german cake (INCREDIBLE combo)
- Finished playing Needy Streamer Overload
- Went to school
- Gave out these cat themed financiers to my classmates
- Went to eat okonomiyaki (THANK YOU, LEE-SAN FOR PAYING!!!)
- Went to karaoke to celebrate Nata-san + Ellie-san’s last day (THANK YOU, JESSICA-SAN FOR PAYING FOR ME!!!)
- Rode back home on the train
- Found my passport
- Wrote blog
- Slept.
Quite a packed day today. I really loved hanging out with everyone. The highlight of today was singing “Dance, Dance” by Fall Out Boy. Anytime I feel like I’m having some identity crisis, to remember my roots, I listen to that song. It’s a part of me. I couldn’t imagine my life apart from it (Tita Michelle will apreciate what I just did there.) After it was over, Emi-san said that the song fits my vibe, and I told her that was the best compliment I had ever recieved. I am so proud to represent those semi-emo midwestern boys.
I want to list the things that I am endlessly grateful for all thanks to Osaka:
I seriously love Osaka. It’s the bomb. My inner child is truly flourishing.
I have many videos/photos of today’s events that I will share tomorrow. I’ll have more to say, but since I’m really tired and I just want to sleep, wake up, eat more yogurt, play more games, watch anime, I’ll do it later. THIS ISN’T PROCRASTINATION! Next week is “golden week” here in Japan meaning EVERYONE is on break. It’s gonna be complete chaos in the streets. I have to begin planning what I’m gonna do… Hmmm… OK, じゃね!
